Sharing my personal favorites that I myself have put to the test, they’re just too good not too share.
Spring Fashion. It’s the time of year to pull out light layers, delicate knits and feminine fabrics and prints. I am working on completing a full closet cleanse while adding timeless pieces that I can wear over and over to my closet. I’ve realized that in order to get the most out of your clothes, you need to have the basics that hold your wardrobe together while you add chic pieces to it over the years. I always look forward to spring fashion. I’m sharing 5 things I have in my closet that effortlessly curate chic looks all season long.
- Nippies
- Trench Coat
- Silk Matching Set
- Nude Sandals
- Knit Cardigan
Nippies
I am always raving about them. They’re under $30 and the best purchase especially as we head into the warmer months. A must-have if you’re wearing any corset, bustier, sheer or cut out style. They’re easy to travel with and to keep clean. Since they’re easy to clean, you can re-use them without having to worry about the adhesive building up with lint and sweat. Oh, yeah, and they’re waterproof so you don’t have to worry about sweat making them slip off. Perfection.
Trench Coat
I love this Trench Coat. I have been looking for the perfect trench for a while. I’m obsessed with this one because it doesn’t have buttons. It’s classy, clean, minimal and a spring staple. There is also a slit in the back with a cute button to secure it. I’ll be wearing this all season. Matching sets are probably the pieces I actively search for and wear most often in my closet. I have many in different fabrics including ribbed knit, silk and chenille. Spring Fashion is all about light, feminine pieces with movement. Silk is the perfect fabric for spring since it’s so soft, and has a luxurious look to it. This matching set is under $100 and I am so excited to style it more. It’s lightweight, good quality, easy to layer and can be dressed up or down. Everyone should have a spring tote bag in their closet. There are some great ones available at Marshalls for under $50 – I’ve linked them here! I have a feeling these will sell out fast. Whether heeled or flat, nude sandals are a must and now is the best time to start looking for them. If you’re wearing heels to an event, I suggest packing a pair of flat neutral sandals just in case you’re on your feet longer than expected. If you’re wearing a floor length dress no-one will even notice the switch. Shop Flat Nude Sandals Simple and classic is the way to go with a knit cardigan. Style it with jeans wide leg trousers, a mini skirt. Absolutely anything looks good with a knit cardigan and spring fashion is all about layering so a knit cardigan is definitely a must.
