Shout Instant Stain Remover Pads
The magical pads, I never knew I needed until I needed them. My husband and I visited Yellowstone National Park during mid September, while the weather was still summery I had to take full advantage of the tan I still had, and of course – I wore a completely white ribbed-knit workout set. While changing from my flip flops to hiking boots. I managed to accidentally get dirt all over my pants, and when I tell you it was all over, I kept finding new dirt spots. We thankfully made a stop at a gas station, and I managed to find these portable stain remover pads. Not knowing if they were going to work or not, I didn’t have many options so I was hoping for the best. They were actually such a huge success I managed to remove the marks and they looked good as new. I have also used these on my sister’s white canvas sneakers, they took the stains right out.

Blotting Trick
Something I have learned through many spills is how to effectively remove liquid stains. I have discovered that blotting has helped me remove, or reduce stains on my clothing. So what does “blotting” mean? I take a heavy duty absorbent paper towel, very lightly dampen it, then press and hold it against the stain. Repeat until the stain no longer leaves residue on the paper towel. I blot it one last time with a damp paper towel to allow it to soak the rest of the liquid stain up. Once complete, I then head to my other favorite trick – Oxy Clean Spray. I often use this on stains that won’t absorb well using the blotting trick. It’s a simple and easy way to remove stains before washing, all you have to do is lay out the pieces, spray the product and let it sit for a few minutes (according to what the bottle says). Then, I toss it in the wash. Making sure to only wash it with other whites, or creams and follow the care instructions of each garment.
Tide To-Go Stick
The Tide To-Go Stick has always been so helpful, especially when traveling. It fits perfectly in a clutch and easily removes stains when in a hurry. I’ve noticed that it takes a little bit to dry, so if you’re using it just keep that in mind!
