How to pack luxuriously, but Thoughtfully. What does that mean to you? To me, it means packing light by adding my favorite pieces, and making them as versatile as possible. I have the tendency to occasionally overpack, with the intentions of wearing all of the different looks I created. I’ve learned that this only causes more problems, because I end up wondering if I properly packed everything back up when leaving. I’ve put together a checklist on how to pack luxuriously, but thoughtfully below to make your weekend getaway duffle bags light weight, and simple.
• Versatility. What pieces do you have that can be worn in multiple ways? My suggestion would be to pack a matching set. This could be a black, square neck bralette, and a maxi skirt. I love this combination because each garment can be mix and matched to create another look. For example, for a date night out, pair the black bralette, with a black mini skirt and noir lace up heels.
I would also be sure to include a maxi dress, mini dress, a pair of jeans, leggings and at least two basic tee shirts. I adore the skims bodysuits, specifically their “Fits Everybody Collection”.

• Lightweight and Layers. This of course depends on where you are going and for how long, but layers are always a good idea. Layering pieces that I love during the warmer months are oversized blazers, and knit cardigans. I recommend choosing linen, cotton or merino wool fabrics as they are breathable and airy for the hot summer sun.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• Comfort & Realistic Shoes. I always bring at least one pair of nude or black heels, one pair of sandals or mules, and a pair of sneakers when traveling. Shop my favorites below.⠀

• As for accessories, I always recommend a crossbody, or shoulder bag to keep your belongings close to you while running around. For jewelry, I always prefer to keep it simple by packing a few everyday, versatile pieces such as gold hoops and a timeless choker. Just in case!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
