History meets luxury in this stunning Airbnb. After entering the historic Athenaeum Row building, you’re greeted with a gorgeous gallery wall that leads you down a grand staircase towards a salmon pink door. Inspired by grand European and Victorian designs, the Alice Miles suite has tremendous detail. There is something new to discover in every corner. You’ll immediately notice the 12-foot tall ceilings, marble fireplaces, the waterfall island of Pacific Blue Marble from Brazil and touches of Sophisticated Emerald green – a color that embodies luxury.

The details of the Alice Miles Suite are breathtaking. From heated marble tiled floors, designer furniture, high-end appliances, and copper hardware with black and gold elements throughout. You’ll find history and rare luxurious elements throughout.

History meets luxury once you step inside. Many elements are original to when Athenaeum Row was built in the 1800’s. Including the fire place mantels made of Nero Portoro Marble form Northern Italy, White Oak Paquet floors, the mouldings and ceiling medallions, and the stunning, massive double doors leading into the kitchen along with the brass doorknobs. Alice Miles, was the inspiration behind the The “Alice Miles Suite“. She attended RISD 65 years ago and is still a member of the Providence Art Club. You’ll find original artwork created by her Grandfather, also known as the famous painter, Paul King throughout the suite. Many of them are hanging from the original picture frame rail and in the hallways.

There is plenty of cozy and comfortable workspace along with sleeping arrangements. Which makes it a great space to book for a solo business trip. The master bedroom includes a king bed that sleeps two, and towards the further end of the suite you’ll find two bunk beds. The suite sleeps up to a total of 6 people, which is perfect for booking a girls trip to Providence, RI.

Located on historic Benefit St, also known as “The mile in history” in Providence, Rhode Island. The Alice Miles Suite is in close proximity to coffee shops, Dunes Brothers, Trader Joes and more. You wake up to a scenic skyline view of the city, and it’s walking distance to just about everything. There is an abundance of greenery and plants in the gorgeous, shared outdoor garden space. I suggest ordering take-out and enjoying it within the garden!
