Style Diaries | A Linen Dress is Essential for Summer

Linen dresses are great pieces to add to your Summer wardrobe since the fabric is so breathable, and has a natural texture. This dress has a little bit more of a structured silhouette, yet has added pleating in the A-line skirt. I love the natural linen color, and adjustable straps. A great piece to wear to a lunch date with flat sandals, or date night with heels. It’s a casual look, but quite feminine due to the pleating detail, neckline and a- line skirt.

Linen does have the tendency to wrinkle easily so be mindful of that when choosing what event or activity you’ll be wearing linen to. You can steam it as much as possible, but it will still leave a few wrinkles if you’re driving somewhere or sitting. It’s more of a relaxed and casual fabric. I wear it most during the day time. However, it can be dressed up by switching the accessories you wear with it.
