The Dome is a luxury glamping experience filled incredible attention to detail throughout. It features furnishings from around the world. Including a complete kitchen full of essentials, a modern luxe bathroom, polished concrete floors, an indoor fireplace that uses bio-ethanol fuel and more. One of my favorite features is the large, cozy L-shaped boucle couch situated in front of the lookout. It’s the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee as you watch the sunrise.
There are endless ways to enjoy your time here. Stay indoors and get lost in the antique books that fill the wall of bookshelves. Have a cozy night in – light the bio-ethanol fireplace, make dinner plated on the beautiful stone dishes and watch a movie on the Frame tv’s, or break out a boardgame.
While outdoors, head to the patio for a bonfire at the smokeless firepit, have a picnic at sunset, go for hike on the hiking trails that cut through the property, and experience the luxurious, heated cedar plunge pool (open year-round) that heats up to hot tub temperatures and has great views !
Not only are the Catskill Mountain Domes great for a getaway with friends and family, they’re also a great space to work from home with excellent fiberoptic internet and comfortable seating to set up your office.
Location
Located in the Catskill Mountains, the drive up is even a beautiful experience. Take your time arriving to the Dome and embrace the views on the way. The property is secluded, yet also close by to local shops, cafes and farm to table restaurants. It’s also in close proximity to Ski Mountains and mountain biking!
