The Best Airbnb Inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian Design
Providence, RI is a gorgeous area to enjoy a weekend away. Specifically, when staying at one of the best airbnb’s in the area. The Machiya Suite, hosted by PVDBNBS. This suite embodies aspects of Japanese and Scandinavian design throughout the space with a hint of historical features that create character within. You’re transported into a completely different world. From arched mahogany wood doors, heated floors, to the amount of natural light that brightens the suite all day long. Trust me, you’re not going to want to leave.
Throughout the Machiya Suite all of the design elements tie into each other. Natural textures including stone, marble, wood and earthy hues combined with soothing art and sunlight make this space stand out. Some of my favorite features included the mahogany arched doorways, the historical restored hardwood floors, marble fireplaces and the simple, clean elements that create a spa like experience. The bathroom in particular felt like you we’re stepping into a hidden oasis with sage green tiles and walls with wood detailing. Most of all, the floors are pebbled stone and heated! This was a luxurious surprise that made a huge difference and lasting impact on the experience.

Next time I stay, I will definitely be bringing my laptop! The sunlight throughout the space brightens your mood, and you wake up and go to bed to a view of the entire city.
