5 Things that will Never Go Out of Style

Three, you’ll never get bored of them and end up wanting to get rid of them. They are just that good.

High-Waisted Jeans

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think high-waisted jeans are ever going to go out of style. They are flattering on all body-types and depending on the fit and shape of the leg these jeans can enhance the waist creating that hourglass figure.

Black Maxi Dress

A black maxi dress is timeless and elegant. One of the reasons I love maxi dresses so much is the fact that they are always elegant, stylish and flattering. It creates length so you look taller, and wearing black creates a clean waistline.

Tights

Specifically black opaque tights. Simply change an outfit by adding a pair of tights. My favorite ones are the express body shaping tights and one of the things I love most about them is the fact that there is extra stitching at the hip, so if you accidentally rip above it, the rip won’t drift down into the leg of the tights. You can still wear them, and nobody will ever know! Did I mention, they’re also super affordable!

Camel Trench Coat

Trench coats can be worn year round. One of the most amazing things about them is you can layer as much as you want underneath in the winter and still look stylish! When summer comes around, style a trench coat with a slip dress for an elegant and effortless look.

The Slip Dress

Due to it’s effortless versatility, the slip dress is always going to remain in style whether, mini, midi or maxi! It can be styled over a long sleeve turtleneck, with a trench coat as featured above, with a blazer, sweater, or a belt to emphasize the waist. The options are endless!

OUTFIT IDEAS

These pieces aren’t going out of style anytime soon. When I purchase items like these I think of the quality, the brand and also the investment I am making in myself. With timeless items I personally don’t mind spending a little bit more on handmade, ethical pieces because I know they are going to last a long-time. I won’t be searching for a new piece in a few months. That’s also one of the reasons I look for simple pieces rather then over the top. I am not a fan of going through my closet and regretting buying a piece because I never wore it. So be sure to really think about that when searching! I also recommend buying vintage, or second hand when you can! I am always searching on poshmark, and even etsy!
