Inclusive, Sustainable & Versatile Swimwear designed for Every Body: BOLD Swim
Tiffany Asamoah, Founder and Designer, of BOLD Swim launched BOLD Swim with a mission to create a diverse and inclusive swimwear line that fits anyone and everyone. With sizes ranging from extra-small to extra-extra-large she provides sexy, and high-quality swimwear that is incredibly versatile. “BOLD Swim is unique as it focuses on sustainability in its design approach, the design process, and production, from start to finish. We design swimwear that is versatile for life in and out of the water, and by improving key design issues that many customers have with swimwear,” said Asamoah.

She decided to launch BOLD Swim due to her own experience of struggling to find a swimsuit that fits both comfortably, and flatters her body type. She figured that if this was happening to her, it must be happening to others as well. Each swimsuit is produced and designed in Brazil. Asamoah directly communicates with her manufacturers and has visited many times, ensuring ethical production and treatment of workers. Each garment is created with Amni Soul Eco®, polyamide yarn with enhanced biodegradability. The result of using this yarn creates a silky and soft touch to the skin, ensuring incredible comfort.
The swimwear is created with versatility in mind, making styling the swimwear out of water, effortless. Asamoah’s favorite current designs are, the Hummingbird, her first design that “works in all places,” she said. She styles it with jeans, skirts, and shorts. The Sophia is her second favorite, it’s a bronze, copper hue and works on any skin tone. “My design process begins with reading fashion magazines, following style blogs, reviewing new and old trends, and ensuring that the style has at least one versatile option outside of the water, and is relatively affordable to my customers.” said Asamoah.

Authenticity radiates throughout BOLD Swim. Asamoah has consistently shown that all women are included in BOLD Swim by representing a variety of ethnicities and sizes. “The women who wear BOLD Swim are highly sophisticated in their style and love effortless style. The simplistic minimal classic design is what she loves, as it gives her opportunity to style up or down. Her BOLD Swim garment is considered part of her curated closet,” she said. Customers are given the option to virtually try on pieces through BOLD Swim’s virtual fitting room. Thus, leading to reduced returns, and making the overall experience of shopping at BOLD Swim memorable and comfortable. She aspires to be the number one swimwear brand, adores who she works with and plans to grow the team while keeping the current culture of BOLD Swim alive. Asamoah hopes to impact the fashion world by setting an example of what it means to be a truly sustainable, inclusive, and diverse brand. “I want to keep providing my clients with quality options to make their vacation BOLD,” said Asamoah.
